NGNU partnered with Westpac to deliver a Security Standards Uplift program across its property portfolio. Our role included reviewing existing documentation, creating new standards, and integrating these into Westpac’s operations, supported by staff training and implementation guidance.
The program strengthened Westpac’s operational resilience by aligning security practices with contemporary requirements and embedding them consistently across multiple sites.
The challenge was to review and update security protocols across a large and complex portfolio, ensuring that they aligned with Westpac’s operational requirements while meeting compliance obligations. The process required coordination between corporate security, property, and operational teams, along with consideration of existing infrastructure and systems. Balancing the need for enhanced security with practical implementation across live business environments added further complexity.
NGNU developed a clear set of updated standards, integrated them into operational processes, and supported their adoption across the portfolio. By engaging directly with Westpac’s internal teams and external consultants, we ensured the standards were practical, cost-effective, and easily implemented. The program improved security resilience and strengthened Westpac’s ability to manage risk and safeguard operations across its network.
